Biography
Rebecca Carmela is a fine artist, sculptor and professional astrologer.
As a fine artist, she specialises in Mixed Media, layering 2D and 3D textures, to create a sense of depth and a connection to a Higher Dimensional and spiritual existence. She does this through applying Sacred Geometry, Jungian Archetypes, symmetry, repetitive motives and intuitive expression to create a cathartic and transformational shift in the conscious and subconscious mind of the observer.
Rebecca's work tries to form a relationship between the balance of light and structure through different dimensional dispositions while also trying to occupy subtle energetic feeling states of conscious entanglement within the same space.
While impartially inarticulate, her work can hint at illusions while looking for windows of aesthetic geometric beauty and pockets of the shapeless unknown interacting within a collective state of visual coherence. Seeking transcendence.
Her work sometimes mimics the illusion of digital Art and interplays with 2D and 3D forms.
Her work has featured in several prominent galleries in London, such as the Rich Mix Gallery Shoreditch, The Artful Pelican and a variety of pop-ups.
As an astrologer, Carmela provides individual Private Readings based on the client’s Birth Chart. She is able to identify the latent blockages in the subject’s lives and potential issues that would prevent the client from achieving their life goals. Her work is extremely useful for career success, finding love, fulfilment and happiness overall.
Rebecca is also a talented vocal performance artist. She has a passion for spoken word and poetry.
